Ingredients: 1. cups Curd  2. tbsp Sugar , powdered 3. 50 grams Dark chocolate , grated to garnish Method: Whisk  and curd with sugar till sugar dissolves completely. After mixing freeze the curd in a bowl for 30 minutes. Than in a glass add grated chococlate after that pour freezed curd and again make a layer of chocolate again pour curd. You can make chocolate layer with chocolate syrup. than again freeze it. serve chilled.                                       

Mourola macher (Indian Carplet) Jhal

Today I am sharing with you a delicious fish curry recipe made with Mourala mach. In Bengal it is called Mourala Macher Jhal. It is a popular Bengali dish and very tasty to eat. The process of making this dish is very simple.
Mourola macher jhal

Ingredients:

  1. Mourola mach - 250gms
  2. Onion medium - 2
  3. Tomato - 1
  4. Potato medium - 2                                                    
  5. Green chillies - 2 to 3                                      
  6. Turmeric powder - 2 tbsp
  7. Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
  8. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  9. Ginger paste - 1tsp
  10. Garlic paste - 1tsp
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Black cumin - 1tsp
  13. Mustard oil 

Method:

  • Wash the fish thoroughly with water and add salt and turmeric powder and keep aside.

  • Pour oil in a pan and fry all the fish for about 5 minutes in low flame.
  • After frying keep the fish aside.
  • Cut the onions and potatoes into pieces.
  • In the same oil add black cumin, let it splutter than add onion and potatoes and fry for 1 minutes.
  • After that add chopped tomatoes, green chilies again fry for 1 minutes than add salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. After frying for 2 minutes add 1 cup water.
  • Now cover and keep in light flame for 2 minutes, After the gravy starts thickening add fried fish and again cover and cook for 3 minutes in medium flame.
  • Remove from flame.
